Instructions
Bring a small pot of water to a gentle boil.
Carefully lower the egg into the boiling water.
Cook for 6–8 minutes, depending on your preferred yolk consistency.
Remove the egg and place it in ice water for 2–3 minutes to stop the cooking.
Peel carefully and serve warm.

6 minutes: runny
7 minutes: jammy
8 minutes: soft-set
