Oatmeal with Fruit
A quick and easy microwave oatmeal topped with strawberries and banana.

Ingredients

cup
oatmeal
1
cup
water
1/8
cup
milk
1 to 2
tablespoons
maple syrup
2 to 3
strawberries
sliced
1/2
banana
sliced
Instructions
Add the oatmeal and water to a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave according to the package directions, usually about 2 to 3 minutes, until the oats are soft and cooked through.
Stir in the maple syrup and milk after cooking.
Top with sliced strawberries and banana.
Serve warm.
Notes
Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and add more if needed.
Keep an eye on the oatmeal in the microwave so it does not bubble over.
This recipe is easy to change up with whatever fruit you have at home.
