Microwave the frozen jasmine rice according to the package instructions.
Transfer the hot rice to a bowl.
Drizzle about 1–2 teaspoons of soy sauce over the rice and gently stir to coat.
Heat oil or butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
Crack the egg into the skillet and fry until the whites are set and the edges start to crisp.
Sprinkle Everything But the Bagel seasoning over the egg while it cooks.
Place the fried egg on top of the rice.
Finish with another light drizzle of soy sauce over the egg and rice.
Enjoy immediately while warm.
